Multi-generational
From toddlers to grandparents, together.
Sea Point · Cape Town
We’re a multi-generational, multi-cultural family gathered around Jesus on the corner of Main and Marais. Whoever you are and wherever you’re from, come as you are and worship with us this Sunday.
From toddlers to grandparents, together.
One family drawn from many nations.
No dress code, no pressure, just welcome.
Warm, faithful, Bible-centred teaching.
A Sunday at Sea Point
Come a little before 09:30. A friendly face will meet you at the door, and there is good coffee waiting.
We sing together and hear a clear, down-to-earth message from the Bible. Kids Church runs during the morning service for ages 3-12.
Afterwards, stay for tea, ask questions, meet people, or find out about Life Groups through the week.
Your first Sunday
No pressure and no surprises, just a warm welcome. Here’s how a typical Sunday morning goes.
Come a little before 09:30. A friendly face will meet you at the door, and there’s good coffee waiting.
Sit wherever you like. Nobody will single you out or ask you to stand; just settle in and relax.
We sing a few songs together and hear a clear, down-to-earth message from the Bible, usually about 30 minutes.
Kids Church runs alongside the service for ages 3-12 with a warm, checked-in team, so you can worship in peace.
Afterwards, stay for a cup of tea. We’d genuinely love to meet you, no strings, no sign-up sheet.
Life at SPECC
However old you are and wherever you’re from, there’s a place for you here on Sundays and right through the week.
Two services every Sunday, 09:30 and 18:00, with heartfelt worship, a warm welcome and a clear message from the Bible.
A safe, joyful space for children and teens to discover Jesus through stories, songs, friendship and honest questions.
Smaller groups meeting through the week, where the big church becomes a close family and faith gets real.
Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t carry it alone. Our care team prays with and walks alongside anyone who asks.
Loving our neighbourhood in practical ways, through meals, support, and partnership with those serving the vulnerable.
A heartfelt, unhurried sound that carries every generation, old hymns and new songs, sung together.
Our story
For years, on the corner of Main and Marais Road, ordinary people have gathered here to worship, to belong and to grow: office workers and grandmothers, students and young families, South Africans and newcomers from across the world.
We’re an evangelical congregational church, which is a long way of saying something simple: we love Jesus, we take the Bible seriously, and we make decisions together as a family.

Beyond our Sunday services, here’s some of what’s happening in the life of the church this season.

Give
Everything we do, from Sunday worship to caring for our neighbourhood, is carried by the glad generosity of our church family.
If you’re new, please don’t feel any pressure at all. Giving is for those who call SPECC home, and it’s always between you and God.
